Chester Adult Phab is a volunteer led social club for people with and without disabilities, founded in the late 1980’s. Current members age range from 18 and above; with no upper age limit. We have over 70 members including PA/Carers, membership continues to increase. We are a registered charity 1053838. The club welcomes any individual over the age of eighteen without regards to disability, political or religious affiliation, race, sex or sexual orientation.
Patrons of Chester Phab include Actress Cherylee Houston, Coronation Street and Actor and TV Presenter Warwick Davis.
In June 2012 we received The Queens Award for Voluntary Service the MBE for volunteer groups.
Provision of a lively monthly calendar of events, accessible to all includes fully accessible transport on events (this does not include monthly socials). We meet monthly in a local pub, The Little Owl, 1 Gawer Park, Chester CH1 4DA.
