You know, it’s not just local services we put on our website.
As much as we are dedicated to improving the delivery of mental health services in Cheshire, we also see the true value that virtual resources can offer people in the local area.
And the range of virtual services are all-encompassing, from this handy animated video about mental health to the online community run at The Big White Wall.
There are also some supportive helplines such as this suicide helpline for Survivors of Bereavement, or this one by Carers Trust for carer support. You can also take this PTSD questionnaire if you are questioning whether you have Post Traumatic Stress disorder.
For children and young people, MyMind offers a wide range of online resources aimed at mental health and wellbeing.
We’re looking at adding more of these services as well as local community groups and mental health services in Cheshire.
After all, the aim of You in Mind is not just to be the source of local information of mental health support in Cheshire; the goal is to be a source of general mental health information and support as well.
Over the next few weeks we will also be reviewing all listings on our website to ensure all information is accurate and up-to-date. If you’re a provider, expect an email from myself in the oncoming days requesting you to check that your services are right.
In the meantime, f you have a great service you’d like to add, please get in touch with us today so we can add you to our hub!
